A brief history
We have been planning this trip since October 2005. At the time Jen was looking at the possibility of driving from Anchorage in Alaska to Orlando in Florida. Dan was thinking about a trip around the world. When we finally got it together, we decided that North America has a huge diversity of landscapes, people and things to do that this would be a good destination for our once in a lifetime trip.
July 2007 is when we go. But now that time is running out we really have to get on and get things done. Finding information is a bit of a time consuming job, so we hope to make it easier for anybody doing something similar by providing as much info as we can, either here in the bloggy thing, or over at our main website, Getmuddy.co.uk

Personally I think the extra day in the travel lodge is due to the proximity of a)the pub and b)a nice comfy bed!!! Only kidding guys! hope you had a great day off roading the Rockies! Mumx
"Your series IIa" - poor George! has he suddenly gone anonymous? He'll feel really left out you know!But I'm sure he'll like his sticker...when he has somewhere to put it that is!!!!!
Hi guys, glad your having a great time :-) We're fine too. Been camping in Wales the last 2 w.ends. Bust our 1st diff last weekend, fixed it now :-)
